About BPS V2

Business Process System (BPS) is a logistic centred application designed to meet the requirements of manufacturers as well as distributors. BPS was developed to support best practices in small to large businesses, and is optimized for ergonomic and efficient work. The applications covers the whole processing chain of typical warehouses and factories:

Supply ordering
Supply intake and return
Storage handling
Customer order processing
Production and packing
Preparation, delivery and invoice

BPS V2 is a complete redisign of its predecessor BPS V1 which looks back on over 12 years success in some of the most successful companies of switzerland. The full business and technology knowledge collected with BPS V1 was incorporated in BPS V2, and extended by completely new features to be fit for the next decade at least. The software technology BPS is based on as well as the application code itself is selected and designed in a way that we can guarantee maximum life time support and the broadest possible platform independency to live up changing IT landscapes. Though the current client software is distributed for Windows platforms only, everything is prepared to be compiled and deployed on other platforms such as OSX or Linux should need arise. On the database side BPS can operate on the best of breed open source and commercial databases, PostgreSQL and Oracle.

Software in business critical areas must not only be rock solid and high performing, but also pushed to the max of possible user friendlyness. It should not require reading of manuals but present everything so it can be operated intuitively, no matter how complex the underlaying structures and relations are. The doubled efforts of not simply implementing functions but working out true usability pay back in high acceptance and motivation of the users as our customers confirm.
