====== CAB Labelprinter Notes ======

The labes are normally not a standard format such as A4 or A5, but a custom format. The custom format can not be set automatically through the whole chain of report designer > Qt printerinterface > windows printer, so it is necessary to install a distinct windows printer for each label format that shall be printed.

Lets assume endless paper is used with the cutter option, and two different label sizes need to be printed: a larger one for LU's and smaller for stock locations. In this case there must be two windows printers which go to the same physical printer, for example one named "A4_01_LU" and another "A4_01_STOCK". 

However the current CAB printer driver does not support 2 windows printers on the same printer port, if you try that it will uninstall the first printer while you install the second. To work around this issue you need to also add two distinct printer ports. Below you can find a walk through that process.

===== Install first printer for LU labels =====

Start the installation from the unpacked CAB driver package:

You can download the latest CAB drivers from http://www.cab.de\\ 
CAB provids a common driver package for all models, so basically you can download the windows driver package from any model in the downloads section. At installation you must however select the exact model, check the specification label at the back side of the printer.

Start the installation again from the unpacked CAB driver package:
